British Wool - Board Member Elections

Following British Wool’s call for nominations for Members of the Board in the Scottish Southern, Welsh Northern and English Southern Regions, an election will be held in all three regions, and the names of the candidates nominated in those areas are as follows:


Scottish Southern Region:

BLYTHE, Hugh, Nether Culzean Farm, Maybole, Ayrshire, KA19 7JQ

ROBERTSON, Jim, Becks Farm, Langholm, Dumfriesshire, DG13 0LP


Welsh Northern Region:

EVANS, Huw Alun, Hengwrt Uchaf, Rhydymain, Dolgellau, Gwynedd, LL40 2AR

EVANS, Sian, Erddreiniog, Tregaian, Llangefni, Anglesey, LL77 7UH


English Southern Region:

BLANDEN, Bob, Upper Stonehill House, Charlton, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, SN16 9DX

RICHARDS, Trevor, Lacton Manor Barn, Westwell, Ashford, Kent, TN25 4NG


Voting papers will be sent to all registered producers in the above Regions on Thursday 16th January 2020, and they must be returned to the Independent Returning Officer by 6pm on Thursday 6th February 2020.

For the purposes of the election, the geographical counties remain the same as they were before the Local Government Act 1972.

The term of office for each Board Member is three years, commencing 1 April 2020.
