English Southern - Frank Langrish - Chairman

Member for Southern England since 1996, elected Vice Chairman in 1999 and Chairman in 2000. Runs more than 4000 Romney ewes on farms in Rye, East Sussex. An active member of the NFU, having served on a number of its specialist national committees. President of the European Wool Group.

Welsh Southern - Gethin Havard - Vice Chairman

Farms 900 acres on two farms - Llwynrhys and Cwmbrynich - near Sennybridge in partnership with his two brothers Huw and Howell.The family business is based on 2000 breeding ewes.

English South Western - Brian Dallyn

Has served on the BWMB's Regional Committee for 11 years and is a past regional chairman of the National Sheep Association. Runs pedigree flocks of Blue-faced Leicester and Exmoor Horn sheep. Is also a founder member and current chairman of the farmers' co-op and buying group Exmoor Farm Services.

English Northern - Malcolm Corbett

Farms at Dykehead, Rochester, Northumberland and is the newly elected board member for the English Northern Region. Well known to livestock producers as vice-chairman of the NFU’s Livestock Board, his hill farm stands at 1200ft in Redesdale and carries 650 ewes comprising Texel x Lleyn and pure Lleyn.

Scottish Northern - Ruairidh Mackenzie

Farming in a family tenancy business at Heathmount, an upland farm thirty five miles north of Inverness, keeping North Country Cheviot alongside suckler cows. A key player in a number of agricultural organisations in the north of Scotland.

Northern Ireland - Ian Buchanan

An experienced sheep farmer, elected 2006, who runs 900 Blackface and Blackface Crosses in a family enterprise. He has served as Chairman of the UFU Hill Farming Committee and is presently Chairman of the NI Agrisearch Sheep Committee.

Welsh Northern - Tom Tudor

Farms in a family partnership with his wife and son, keeping 1200 Welsh Mule ewes and 120 suckler cows on 650 acres near Welshpool. He is the delegate for Montgomery on the NFU's Welsh Council.

English Central - Nigel Williams

Runs a mixed family farm, in partnership with his wife and son, in the South Shropshire hills, running 550 ewes alongside 80 suckler cows and 180 acres arable. Previously an experienced, competitive shearer, now a senior shearing judge. Elected 2000.

Scottish Southern - Hugh Blythe

Farms at Maybole, Ayrshire, has 500 cross ewes and 40 suckler cows. Has been involved with the NFU in the past and has been a Wool Board Regional Committee Member for 5 years.

Independent Member - Dudley Hutchings

New Independent Member of the Board (joined 1 April 2009)from Crowborough, East Sussex. He runs his own business providing interim management, specializing in change management and logistics.Is also chairman of the Crowborough Partnership, a non political organization which works with government and non-government agencies to support the community and businesses within the market town.

Independent Member - Judith Donovan CBE

Judith Donovan joined the board as an independent member on October 1st 2009. A previous winner of the Yorkshire Businesswoman of the Year award – she now works in the public sector and is involved in a wide range of national organizations. Judith serves on the BIG Lottery Fund Board and is a Health & Safety Executive Board Director - with responsibility for small firms and agriculture . She has recently been appointed as a consultant to the Royal Mail Group.
