Meet British Wool’s Producer Communications Manager at the 2017 Royal Welsh Winter Fair

British Wool is attending the Royal Welsh Winter Fair at The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society, Powys, from 27th to 28th November 2017.  One of the most popular attractions on the British agricultural show calendar, the show will see the finest prime stock in Europe.

The British Wool team is attending the Fair to meet producers, providing an opportunity to discuss recent developments, upcoming initiatives and listen to feedback as part of a continuous improvement approach.

Gareth Jones has recently returned to the role of Producer Communications Manager following a period working as Operational Improvement Manager, where he was involved in implementing a new approach to productivity across the depot network delivering significant savings to operating costs in the process.  This expanded role now has overall responsibility for shearing and field services.

Gareth commented “Effective communication is really important to our business, and I’m looking forward to working closely with our Head of Shearing Colin MacGregor and the rest of the team to raise awareness about British Wool.  The Royal Welsh Winter Fair is an important event in the farming calendar and I look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand to discuss the positive work being done to improve our service to producers and also in promoting the benefits of British Wool to consumers.”

British Wool will be exhibiting at stand 173 in the South Glamorgan Hall.
