Facebook Competition Terms and Conditions – win a flat cap from The Original Yorkshire Clothing Company

The promoter is British Wool Marketing Board, a public non-financial corporation established under the British Wool Marketing Board Scheme (Approval) Order 1950 and the British Wool Marketing Board Scheme Amendment (Order) 2000 whose office is at Wool House, Sidings Close, Canal Road, Bradford, BD2 1AZ.

The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of British Wool and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

The Monogram, Peaky Blinder and Winning Post caps are excluded from the competition. The winner can pick any choice of cap from The Original Yorkshire Clothing Company’s range with the exception of these three products.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

The closing date and time for entry is 31st May 2018, 11.59pm. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

The winner will be chosen at random by an employee of British Wool who will independently and randomly pick an entrant. They will verify that the entrant has met the competition criteria and was eligible to enter. The winner will be notified by private message on Facebook within 28 days of the closing date. Delivery details for the prize will be requested by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter will notify the winner when the prize is despatched.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to British Wool and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the Privacy Policy displayed below these terms and conditions.

  19. Card Payments
    Card payments made over the phone or through this website will be processed through Barclaycard and the transaction will be between You and British Wool. Where a refund is requested or necessary due to cancellation (as explained below), the payment will be refunded by BACS to a bank, details of which will be provided by You. This process will take 3 working days. Prices quoted include VAT.
  20. Training courses - cancellation and payment terms
    If a course is cancelled by British Wool, then an alternative will be offered, if this is not suitable then a refund will be given, as stated above, this will be by BACS to the bank account You stipulate and will take 3 working days.

    Should You need to cancel a course an alternative delegate name to replace You can be accepted.  This will be at no extra charge. Should You need to completely cancel then a refund will be given by BACS and will take 3 working days.

    Payment for courses is required before the first day of the course and Your place is not guaranteed until full payment is received. People who turn up to the course not having paid beforehand could be turned away, this is on a case by case basis and depends on the amount of people on the course and the facilities at the venue. If they are able to stay then where possible payment will be taken on the day.

    Any seals/certificates awarded at any of our courses will NOT be sent to You until full payment has been received.
  21. Delivery of Shearing Training Resources
    If payment for any Shearing Training Resources as detailed on http://www.britishwool.org.uk/page/producer-services/shearing/training-resources.php is made by Card over the phone before 12.00pm then the resources will be posted the same day by first class, any payment by Card taken after 12.00pm then the items will be posted the next working day by first class.
