The eleventh British Wool Sale of the 2010/11 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,597,099 kilos. There was good demand across most types today with the exception of Cast & Red Kempy Welsh, this resulted in a clearance of 87%. Compared to the last time sold: Pick & Super Hogs 2% dearer, other Pick & Supers firm. Halfbred Hogs up to 2% dearer, other Halfbreds firm. Cross Hogs up to 4% dearer, other Crosses Buyers Favour. Radnors Buyers Favour. Selected Welsh firm, others up to 3% cheaper. Swaledale firm.
