The sixth British Wool Sale of the 2011/12 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,793,864 kilos. The sale started strongly with strong demand across the range of types resulting in a clearance of 98%. Compared to the last time sold Pick and Supers 2 - 5% dearer Halfbreds 2 - 5% dearer Crosses 2 - 7% dearer, except Hogs which were fully firm Cheviot Discoloured 5% dearer, others Sellers Favour Radnors 2 - 7% dearer Welsh 4 - 10% dearer Blackface 2 - 6% dearer
