The seventh British Wool Sale of the 2011/12 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,796,125 kilos. Following the strong performance of the previous sale, the market opened well with prices strengthening further, as a result there was virtually a full clearance. Compared to last time sold: Pick & Supers - Firm 4% dearer, Halfbreds 1-3% dearer, Crosses 1-2.5% dearer, Radnors 1-3% dearer, Welsh - Firm 4% dearer, Swaledale 3-5% dearer and Blackface 1.5-2% dearer.
