The twelfth British Wool Sale of the 2011/12 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,895,391 kilos. The final sale of 2011 saw a clearance of 60%. This was a reflection of the forthcoming Christmas and New Year holdiays but, there was nevertheless, much improved demand from the previous sale. Compared to the last time sold Pick and Supers 1 - 1.5% cheaper Halfbred Buyers Favour Crosses 1 - 1.5% cheaper Radnors Buyer Favour Welsh 1-2% cheaper Swaledale upto 2.5% cheaper
