The fifth Scottish sale of the 2005/06 season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 2.5 million kilos of British Wool. Well spread bidding at the sale resulted in a clearance of over 60% of current seasons wool. Compared to the last Sale (Bradford BW56 on 14th December 2005): Halfbreds firm. Crosses firm. Compared to the last Scottish Sale BW54 - 16th November 2005: Cheviots 1.5-2.5% cheaper. Blackface firm. Irish Grades: Halfbreds firm. Crosses firm. Blackface Buyers Favour.
