The final sale of the 2005/06 season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 2.87 million kilos of British Wool. The sale comprised the full range of British Wool types. The bidding was well spread resulting in a clearance of 75% of current season's wool. Compared with the previous sales - BW65 on 10/05/06 & BW64 on 26/04/06 where applicable:- Pick & Supers Buyers Favour. Cheviots firm. Halfbreds firm except Cast & Discoloured Hogs which were 2.5% cheaper. Crosses 2.5-5% dearer. Light Grey & Red Kempy Radnor 3% dearer other Radnors Buyers Favour. Welsh Cast 3% dearer other Welsh Buyers Favour. Blackface fully firm. Swaledale fully firm. Irish Grades: Halfbreds Buyers Favour.
