Wool Sale Report for BW73 held on
4th October 2006

The fifth sale of the 2006/07 season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 2.83 million kilos of British Wool. There was well spread competition on most types resulting in approximately 1,500,000 kgs being sold. Compared to the last Bradford sale - BW71 on 6th September 2006:- Pick & Supers buyers favour. Halfbred Hogs sellers favour, Wethers - fully firm. Crosses fully firm. Radnors firm. Welsh Cast 2% dearer other Welsh firm. Swaledale sold strongly with prices in sellers favour.
