The fourteenth British Wool Sale of the 2009/10 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,404,773 kilos. Another very strong sale with well spread competition and many prices continuing to advance. This produced a clearance of 97%. Compared to the last time sold: Pick & Supers 8-11% dearer. Best Halfbred Wethers 11% dearer, Cast & Discoloured up to 3% dearer. Hogs fully firm. Cross Hogs up to 10% dearer, Cotts 6% dearer, Wethers up to 3% dearer. Radnors firm. Welsh firm. Swaledale 2-8% dearer.
