Wool Sale Report for BW87 held on

The nineteenth British Wool Sale of the 2010/11 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,724,951 kilos. The penultimate sale of the season, the first of two clearance sales, comprised of a large selection of small lots and oddments. Following recent very strong gains the price eased back, nevertheless, there was still good demand with 88% of the offering sold at an average greasy price of 150p/kg.
