Wool Sale Report for BW50 held on

The sixth British Wool Sale of the 2013/14 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,753,961 kgs. With the next scheduled sale being cancelled and no British Wool on offer for four weeks, there was strong and sustained demand throughout the sale, resulting in a full clearance. Compared to the last time sold: Fine Wools Sellers Favour Halfbred Wethers 2% dearer, Hogs Fully Firm Mule Hogs 10-12% dearer, Fine Radnors 2% dearer Medium Radnors 10-15% dearer, Fine Radnors 2% dearer Cheviots 2-8% dearer Welsh 5-10% dearer Swaledale Grey 22% dearer, White 10% dearer Blackface generally 7-15% dearer, (Greys 22% dearer)
