Wool Sale Report for BW34 held on
8th December 2004

The eighth Bradford sale of the 2004/05 season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 2.17 million kilos of British Wool. Despite the further decline in the strength of the U.S. dollar against sterling, the final sale of 2004 produced an 82% clearance with the market remaining generally firm. To date almost two thirds of the projected overall clip of 37 million kg has been sold. Compared with the last Bradford Sale BW33 on 24th November 2004:- Pick & Supers firm. Halfbred Wethers fully firm, Hogs Buyers favour. Cross Hogs up to 2% dearer, Wethers 1% dearer. Radnors fully firm. Welsh firm, except Red Kempy & Light Grey which were Buyers favour. Swaledale 2% dearer.
