Wool Sale Report for BW45 held on
6th July 2005

The first Bradford sale of the 2005/06 season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 2.05 kilos of British Wool. The majority of types were well sought after at the inaugural sale of the 2005 clip. This resulted in a clearance of 74%. Compared to the last Bradford Sale - BW44 - 15th June 2005:- Pick & Supers 2% dearer. Halfbred Wethers fully 2% dearer, Hogs sellers favour. Cross Wethers & Cotts up to 3% dearer, Hogs fully firm. Medium Radnors 2% dearer, other Radnors buyers favour. Welsh firm. Swaledale fully firm.
