The seventeenth sale of the 2015/16 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,682,809 kgs. The penultimate sale of the 2015/16 selling season comprised a varied offering of fleece wools, lambs wool and oddments. The overall clearance was 97%. Compared to the last time sold: Fine Types: No.1 Ewes firm, other Fine Types 2-5% cheaper. Medium types: No.1 Ewes firm, other Medium Types 2-5% cheaper. Mule types: Hogs fully firm, other mule types 2-3% cheaper. Cheviot types: 3-4% cheaper. Welsh types: No.1 firm, others 2% cheaper. Swaledale types: 3% cheaper. Blackface types: 2-3% cheaper.
