Meet Welsh Regional Coordinator, Sue Turley Meet Welsh Regional Coordinator, Sue Turley 22 July 2019 Sue joined the British Wool team in January 2019, taking on the role as Welsh Regional Coordinator for British Wool. Sue is based at our Newtown grading depot and is currently responsible for running the Welsh regional office. The role includes coordinating the sheep shearing training programme in Wales, clerking Welsh Northern and Southern regional committees and promoting the work of British Wool. Read Blog

British Wool supports Shearing and Wool Handling Teams for 2019 World Championships British Wool supports Shearing and Wool Handling Teams for 2019 World Championships 1 July 2019 The 2019 Shearing & Wool Handling World Championships take place in France this week and British Wool are delighted to be supporting the England, Scotland and Wales teams. The Championships, which are held in Le Dorat, France from 1-7th July 2019, will see the teams from England, Scotland and Wales face competitors from over 20 countries, up to 300 shearers and 5,000 sheep.
