British Wool opens new Staffordshire Collection Centre
British Wool are pleased to announce the opening of a new Collection Centre in Penkridge, Staffordshire.
The new site is located on the premises of Wayne Underhill, a local sheep farmer who also has a shearing contracting business in the area.
Peter Manley, Bradford Depot Manager said, “It is essential we continue to provide our producers with a high level of service and the collection centre structure is an effective and efficient way of achieving this.
“Working together with Wayne, we identified South Staffordshire as an area where producers would benefit from a new facility - producers can be assured of a high level of service getting their wool off farm ready to be graded, packed and tested before the wool is sold at one of British Wool’s auctions.”
Any producers wishing to make arrangements to deliver their wool to the new Collection Centre in Penkridge should contact Wayne Underhill beforehand on 07443 040577.
