Wool Sale Report for BW71 held on
6th September 2006

The fourth sale of the 2006/07 season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 2.89 million kilos of British Wool. There was more demand evident at the sale with prices being maintained throughout. As a result over 2 million kilos was sold, with 6 and 9 Month Forward Not Available wools selling strongly. Compared to the last Bradford sale - BW70 on 23rd August 2006:- Pick & Supers buyers favour. Best Halfbred Wethers, sellers favour, all other Halfbreds fully firm. Best Cross Wethers, sellers favour, all other Crosses fully firm. Radnors firm. Welsh firm. Selected Swaledale 5-8% dearer. Grey Swaledale fully firm.
