The thirteenth British Wool Sale of the 2009/10 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,572,544 kilos The opening sale of 2010 started extremely strongly with prices advancing from the start and competition that was, at times, intense. This produced a full clearance. Compared to the last time sold: Pick and Supers 6% dearer Halfbred Hogs 10% dearer, other Crosses 10-15% dearer Radnors 18 - 20% dearer Cheviot Cast 37% dearer, Wethers 23% dearer, Hogs 13% dearer Welsh 15% dearer Swaledale 15% dearer Blackface generally 10 - 20% dearer
