Wool Sale Report for BW4 held on

The fourth British Wool Sale of the 2011/12 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,696,356 kilos. With a larger volume of wool on offer, demand was spread across all types with prices slightly easier. The clearance was 68%. Compared to the last time sold: Best Pick and Supers Firm, Cast up to 2.5% cheaper Halfbred Hogs Buyers Favour, Wethers 2% cheaper Cross Hogs Firm, Wethers up to 2% cheaper Radnors 1.5-2% cheaper Welsh 3% cheaper Swaledale - the first offering of 2011 season wool sold well
