Wool Sale Report for BW60 held on

The fourteenth British Wool Sale of the 2013/14 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,742,932 kgs. Today's sale saw a mixed market with mountain style wools increasing in price whilst finer types eased slightly. The overall clearance was 93%. Compared to the last time sold: Fine types: Cast fully firm, others up to 2% cheaper. Halfbreds: Discoloured fully firm, others 3% cheaper. Mules: 2.5 - 3.5% cheaper. Radnors: Fully firm. Welsh: 7% dearer. Swaledale: Up to 7% dearer. Blackface: Hogs 3% dearer, others fully firm.
