Wool Sale Report for BW44 held on
15th June 2005

The fourteenth Bradford sale of the 2004/05 season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 2.41 kilos of British Wool. This was the final sale of the 2004 selling season. Consequently, there was a large and varied offering of wool from all U.K. Depots. This resulted in a clearance of over 85% of spot wool. Encouragingly over 50% of the 3 months not available offering was sold. Compared to the most recent sale (Scottish BW43 on 11th May 2005):- Halfbreds fully firm. Cross Wethers sellers favour, all other Crosses fully firm. Blackface firm. Swaledale firm. Irish Grades all firm. Compared to the last Bradford Sale - BW42 - 27th April 2005:- Radnors up to 3% dearer. Red Kempy & Light Grey Welsh 2% dearer, other Welsh types firm.
