Wool Sale Report for BW55 held on
30th November 2005

The seventh Bradford sale of the 2005/06 season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 2.59 kilos of British Wool. There was increased demand at yesterday's sale resulting in a clearance of 1.7 million kilos (65% of the large offering). Compared with the last sale (Scottish - BW54 on 16th November 2005):- Halfbreds and Crosses firm. Radnors and Welsh also remained firm against the prices achieved for a small selection of BW54. Compared to the last Bradford Sale - BW53 on 2nd November 2005:- Pick & Supers 2-3% cheaper. Halfbred Hog Cast firm, other Halfbreds 2-3 cheaper. Crosses 2-3.5% cheaper. Best Fine Radnors firm, other Radnor types 2-3% cheaper. Welsh 2.5-3.5% cheaper. Swaledale fully firm.
