A family-owned and run business based in Huddersfield; one of the textile towns of West Yorkshire. We strive to produce high quality, British yarns in our own mill, taking ownership of every step from sourcing the fibre through to product development.

Our capabilities stretch from fine lace yarns through to roving yarn. Our spinning section is made up of employees who are experts in their area and have the skills and ability to get the best out of the fibre from a design and processing perspective.

The success of our customers is how we measure our own success. Isle & Proper collections stocked in 19 shades including ecru. Alongside our stock dyed ranges we also have a range of undyed British breed specific yarns such as Lonk (Rufford), Dorset Horn (Lulworth) and Shetland (Braewick).

Stock supported and spun to Lace, 4ply, DK and Aran and supplied on cone or hank.
