British Isles Shearing Competitions Association

The British Isle Shearing Competition Association (BISCA) is the governing body for affiliated shearing competitions in Britain. Established in 2000, taking over from the National Shearing Competitions Committee (NSCC).

Using the knowledge and expertise of its members and other World Shearing bodies to set and uphold a competition standard for all disciplines, ensuring that the safety and welfare of both shearers and sheep is at the forefront.

Reminders

Please quote your classification number when entering competitions, particularly important where late entries are taken.

To all competition secretaries and particularly to those present at competitor check in, please ensure that all competitors give their Classification Number or if a non-classified shearer gives their full name and address with postcode.

At the end of your competitions please ensure you forward your results as soon as possible to: [email protected] so these can be placed on the British Wool Website.
