SMD is a family owned company with a heritage almost as colourful as its home county of Lancashire.

The company was initially started by Salvador Monllor Domenech (SMD) who left the running of the business to Jason Kenworthy on his return to Spain in 1999.

In 2013, Jason launched the ILIV brand, which over the past 10 years has become the UK’s fastest growing premium interior fabric brand. We take inspiration from fashion and interior trends, worldwide travel and appreciating natural surroundings.

We have a 6-strong in-house design team who immerse themselves in the latest trends to design stylish fabrics whilst considering the impact on the planet.
