Melin Tregwynt

Melin Tregwynt is a traditional woollen mill in a remote wooded valley on the Pembrokeshire coast, has been weaving since the 17th century.

We create fabrics which are useful and beautiful to look at; contemporary yet steeped in history. The skills and knowledge of all the employees, both past and present, keep the tradition of Welsh weaving alive at Melin Tregwynt. Doublecloth is a traditional weave deeply rooted in Welsh folk history. Every mill had its own special design.

The majority of our patterns are traditional to the mill, with some contemporary additions inspired by the brand’s identifying geometric patterns and love of colour.

In 2025 Melin Tregwynt launched an 100% Welsh wool quality, solidifying its commitment not only to local manufacturing but sourcing local wool from local farmers to feed into their supply chain.
